How to get to the Airport (or from)
If your accommodation does not provide a transfer for you then there are four ways to commute from and to the airport.
Public transport,taxi or private transfer and rental car.
Santorini Airport Bus
The public bus is a very limiting yet cheap option because it runs from the Fira central station to the airport and back to Fira. So in order to get to the airport you have to go to Fira first and take a second bus from there which is not always easy.
The Airport bus stop is right outside of the arrivals area.The service is running multiple times during the day on a daily basis from early in the morning till the evening (around 10) and the bus ticket costs €1.80.

Santorini Airport Taxi
Taxis in santorini are hard to get – there are only 37 taxis in Santorini and just and they cant keep up with the rising demand. The airport taxi station opposite the arrivals area of the Santorini airport, but the taxis are hard to find and there is almost always a long queue and lots of waiting. You can skip the lines and order a Private Taxi Service in Santorini. Lines for check in and departure can often extend outside the airport and down the sidewalk. Arrive early if you need to check in or check bags.
